DURGAPUR AEROTROPOLIS
Work in Durgapur Aerotropolis wil start very soon, the entire land for the airport wll come under the direct control of the company which is setting the project, in the month of June, as yet 18 thousand land owners have contributed their land at their will ,the land will be filled in the month of August and there will be a wall in the month of October.The airport will be the first of its kind in the entire country and related projects will be put up with the passage of time.

Lt's hope that the rest of land for the township around the airport also becomes available as and when needed.
Progress is confined in paper work till date.Real construction work has not yet started.There is no need to view a very big thing at this time.A landing and take off capability shall be enough for the phase1.Rest, think in phase 2. Dr Sovan Roy.
