CNG AUTO
Durgapur is the first city in West Bengal to have commercial operation of CNG auto services.Recently state has flagged off CNG auto services in Durgapur in 8 routes and with specified fare chatrs.80 such autos will ply on the roads of Durgapur.The old fashioned 2 stroke autos will be phased out within this financial year.The fare range is Rs 3-Rs 5.50.

I am going to visit West Bengal by car directly from Dhaka but I am bit anxious considering the fuel cost as I have to pour petrol (costlier)intsead of CNG as we do in Bangladesh. However, I have found the news that in Durgapur, CNG is available.Now I want to know whether there are enough CNG stations in Durgapur and whether they will be able to fuell a CNG driven car also as we do in Bangladesh.
