According to the town planners of Durgapur to contain the upcoming projects of the ever growing Durgapur DVC(Damodar Valley Corporation)More near NH-2 and the CMERI township will be brought under the areas where there will be rapid developments,this is keeping in mind the rapid urbanisation in Durgapur.
There is a plan to develop a Bus Terminus for long-route buses near DVC More and to shift the cattle-farm in DVC.
