ESSAR INTERESTED IN FERTILIZER PLANT
Essar has already expressed interest in starting a fertilizer plant in Durgapur, it may use the closed HFC-Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation's land or it may see other land options.The investment amount will be Rs 5000 crore and it require 600 acres ,the production rate will be 13 lac metric tonne per year.

Then that's one of the most interesting stories because then Durgapur will see the light of high speed of development....inspite of being in this cursed state of West Bengal..
