IQ CITY UPDATE
IQ CITY Project which is a project of the SPS Group and the Remac group would be completed in 3 years from now.

good. such self-contained townships will provide good infra to DGP. what happened to the plot DLF bought ?
DLF has already scrapped some of its project,this has been done countrywide due to dull investment scenario,may be the Durgapur township is also dropped,even i dont have correct info
I have visited the site 2 days ago.It appears that sps group has probably, lost interest in it.People of Durgapur shall be lucky enough if something comes out of it in near future.Dr S. Roy.
When is the booking going to start? I have been hearing this for over a year now that the project is likely to start very soon but the results are zero....
The Project is getting launched around Q3 2010. One of the JV partners (a major Kolkata-based real estate firm) have also started hiring a dedicated team for the project.

I visited the project office at the site right after Pujo and spoke to Dpty. Mgr of Sales for the project. Some of the work of laying the basic utilities and arterial roads is under way. They are also working on building a single storey model flat.
However, I understand that the plan for the residential units have not been approved yet by the authorities but this is expected to be completed by Q1 of 2010 @ which point bookings can be expected to start.
I have visited IQ city few days ago,only basic jobs are going on.But after completing the city it will be a place to see in DURGAPUR.With IQ city local area will benefited more.

It is located in Shovapur,which is at the end of the steel township,

Update from my visit on 14th Aug : the medical college campus is coming up. The housing project will be ready for booking by Puja.
